Evan Martin, 34, is facing a host of charges following his arrest by the Special Victims Unit on Wednesday, Nov. 16 for alleged sexual offenses involving a minor, officials say.
Specifically, Martin was charged with:
- Second-degree rape;
- Sexual solicitation of a minor;
- Drug distribution;
- Various assault charges.
The nature of the alleged rape and assault were not immediately disclosed by police investigators on Wednesday afternoon, nor was the relationship between Martin and his victim.
Martin is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Detectives from the SVU in Baltimore County are seeking information from anyone with knowledge of the case or any other potential victims.
The investigation remains ongoing.
